    NAUGLE - Josiah E., 72, Hooversville R. D. 1, died at 5 a. m. Aug. 14, 1960, at home. Born Aug. 25, 1887, son of Simon and Sara Ellen (Shaffer) Naugle. Married to the former Ertie Lehman. Survived by widow and following children: Florence and Alice, both at home; Earl, Elton; Roy, Joseph, and Josephine, wife of Kenneth Hollsopple, all of Hooversville R. D. 1; Evelyn, wife of Alvin Ott, and Agnes, wife of Mervin Weible, both of Windber R. D. 1; also 19 grandchildren, 3 sisters: Mrs. Bertha Parson, Mrs. Sadie Sharpe and Mrs. Arminta Mock, all of Windber; stepmother, Mrs. Mary Naugle, also of Windber; half-brothers, Paul, Robert and Clifford, and half-sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Krise and Mrs. Ruth Oatman. Preceded in death by son, Albert, and daughter, Edith; two brothers, Harvey and Jerry, and sister, Elizabeth Shaffer. Shade Township farmer and member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church where service will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, Rev. Dean Shaffer. Interment, church cemetery. Friends received in Berkebile Funeral Home, Hooversville.
