Shepherd cared for in private home for $4.00 per day. p. 48. Sheriff to procure 3 months' care at public sale. On many occasions payment was ordered for care of S. at $4.00 per day. p. 114. "Keeping and taking care of Henry Shepherd, insane, to be let out at public sale to the lowest bidder . . . " Here for the first time conditions are prescribed and bond required.
