written 19 Feb 1828 and proved in the March session of the same year. In it
he names his wife, Nacy Redman, leaving her over 1000 acres of land. At the
time his youngest child "became of age" then the land was to be equally divided
among his four children

John's land was divided by drawing lots on 4 Dec 1841. Those participating
were John McCallon, Nelson C. Redmon, and John P. Redman. It is unknown
whether John McCallon was representing Wiliam or Elizabeth. William served as
constable in Meigs County and later moved to Polk Co Missouri. Elizabeth may
have died young, she has not been found in other records.
