    FORREST M. MORGAN

    Mr. Forrest M. Morgan, aged 82 years, died at his home at Diggs, Friday afternoon, March the 9th after several weeks illness. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Florence Heslop, of Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. W. J. Hudgins, and Mrs. W. B. Diggs, of Diggs and Mrs. Orin Hudgins, of Laban; four sons, Capt. A. J. Morgan, of Norfolk, Va.; W. W. Morgan, T. W. Morgan, and Butts Morgan, of Diggs; twenty-nine grand-children and six great grand-children.

    Mr. Morgan was a member of Salem M. E. Church, where funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 P. M., conducted by his pastor, Rev. Fletcher Osborne. Interment was made in Milford Cemetery. The active pall-bearers were: Joseph Morgan, Waverly Hudgins, Willie Hudgins, Melvin Hudgins, Allen Morgan and Wilford Morgan. Honorary: S. C. Forrest, Harry Forrest, B. O. Morgan, John Forrest, W. E. Forrest, James Morgan, Rufus Callis, Rosser Morgan, Jack Dutton, Occar (sic) Forrest, and Capt. John Forrest.
