    In the 1880 census, there's a Bridget "Kilboy" listed living with the family of Peter Manley, but the date of birth is 10 years later than her tombstone indicates. An 1892 Bellaire directory finds her living at 209 Bridge Street, the home of her daughter Bridget and son-in law William Manley, son of Peter.

    GILBOY is an anglicized version of O Giolla (lad) Bhuide (yellow); this spelling and KILBOY are peculiar to County Mayo. In some cases the name became Ogilvie. Other variants of this Donegal sept include MacKelvy, MacCalvey, MacElwee, MacGilloway. MacGilvie, Kilvey.
