    In all probability, Rodeham MOORE married “the girl next door” when he married Elizabeth GALLAHUE in
    1769.



    By 1779, Rodeham MOORE is no longer a resident of Henry County.




    He has been in Surry County long enough to have built a house on his own land for his young wife and son.




    He owns a number of horses/mules and cattle, and probably a grist mill.

    DNA Tests indicate that Rodeham MOORE is not the brother of William MOORE II in this .ged file. While
    similarities between William MOORE II (in this file) and Rodey are tightly woven .. it seemed impossible that
    they were not brothers. The two marker difference within the first 12 markers render a close relationship
    very problematic.  DNA test of myself, Arthur Allen Moore III, with a known Rodeham Moore
    descendant indicate there is no "close" relation as previously thought.        Art Moore

    William (I) and Margaret Hall were married and living in Amelia Co on Seller/Sailor Creek by 1740, along
