Sir John Blackett (or Blaket), of Icomb in Gloucestershire, who fought at Agincourt, married Margaret, daughter of Sir John Eynesford, above mentioned, and died in 1431 [?], by his will bequeathing his body "to the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin in the church at Icomb" and leaving as his heiress a daughter, Anne.

Pride of place within St Mary's, Icomb, must go to the tomb of Sir John Blaket (Blackett) who fought with Henry V at Agincourt. The effigy of Sir John is quite wonderfully rendered, as are the carvings that line the pediment of his monument.
    ---
Married first Margaret, daughter of Sir Ralph Hastings, whose maternal arms were once in the chantry window of Icomb Place. ['Lady Heron'] [Widow of Sir Roger Heron]
2ndly Margaret Wroughton or Worstan (his second wife, and probably a daughter of Sir John Eynsford), and had children Edmond and Anne Blaket
3rdly Elizabeth, [dau of John] Trillowe [of Chastleton] (his third wife, and widow of Sir Thomas [or WIlliam] Wilcotes of Northleigh.)
Margaret?s effigy is in Nosely Church, Leicestershire [d 1406], and Elizabeth?s is in Northleigh, Oxon.
