He was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He leaves his son, Jonathan H. Fonda of Uxbridge, his daughter, Suzanne W. Fonda, two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service was Nov. 3 in the Weston United Methodist Church , 377 North Ave. Weston.
