His initials on one census are Charles A.T. and in the Avery genealogies he is Charles A. - so I am pretty convinced that his full name is Charles Augustus Thorp Glen. Charles Augustus Thorp was the husband of Susan Avery, sister of Laurette and Mary. Susan was the oldest sister and was married in 1829, well before her sisters had their children.
