The funeral takes place from the cemetery lodge Sunday afternoon at 5:30. The body will be taken to Pawpaw, Ill., for burial. Surviving is the widow and one daughter, Mrs. George Jarvis. Captain Fonda was 74 years old, a native of Deerfield, N. Y. He fought the war on the Union side and later for 25 years was an engineer on the Union Pacific.
