C; town: North Greenbush]; [A military funeral was accorded the body of Earl S. Fonda, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford L. Fonda, of North Greenbush, whose body arrived in Troy Thursday night. The funeral took place this afternoon from the Bloomingrove Reformed church, the Rev. John Bulnes in charge. Burial was in the Bloomingrove Cemetery. Fonda died in action Sept 29th 1918, while serving with the 105th infantry, 27th division. "Buddies" of the dead soldier formed the honor escort and fired three volleys over his grave.
