    The following information was taken from "Roughton-Rotton-Roton Family History," Compiled by W. Hobson Roughton , 1978 (Rt. 1, Box 199, Union Springs, AL 36089, p. 5.
    Susan was the daughter of John M. Dozier whose ancestry goes back to Leonard Dozier who was born in France in 1643, married there and came to Va. in the 1680's as a French Hugenot. Susan's mother was Amy Youngblood, daugher of Jacob B. Youngblood who had married Sarah Still, daughter of John and Mary Still. John Still died in 1797. Jacob B. Youngbleed was the son of Tjomas and Amy (Hopkins) Youngblood. Thomas Youngblood was a Rev. War Soldier.
    Loveless and Susan Rotoon moved from S. C. to Macon Co., Sardis Community, AL ( now Bullock Co.) in 1837. Sysan's parents had moved there in 1834. About 1846 Loveless and Susan moved from Sardis to Macedonia Community, then Pike Co byt now Bullock Co., AL. [record found in Tuskegee showing Loveless sold his property in Macon Co. to Joseph Wood for the sum of $400.00 in 1846]
