    wrote ; It is my husband who has the Cornish ancestors, those there is no direct connection to your family. When I first started the family history trail, I was told that his gt gt grandmother was a fisherman’s daughter from Mousehole. This was 99% correct, as Jane Bond was from Paul, next to Mousehole. Her father was Paul Tonkin Bond. His elder brother Richard Bond married 1831 to Avis Gilbert. Avis was dau of Robert, son of Richard. son of William, son of Hercules and Honnor.

    However, Paul Tonkin BOND Christening: 24 AUG 1806 Paul, Cornwall, England , states Parents as Father Richard BOND and Mother Ann, yet no other children baptised to Richard & Ann BOND.

    Angela Robinson advised Marilyn Carpenter 'A quick perusal seems to show that you have a common ancestor with my husband Mike: Abraham GUY b 1690! He’s the gt gt grandfather of the Richard GUY on your tree. I’d say you are very distant cousins! I have Myrtle May on my tree, but not her Carpenter family. I cannot see any other connections..'
