Helen (Hopp) Trbovich, age 90, went to be with the Lord Friday evening. She was a life resident of the Canton/ Massillon area. Helen was a graduate of St. Mary's Grade School in Massillon and a 1939 graduate of Massillon High School. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Little Flower Altar Rosary which she was a past president, and the C.G.A. Helen loved to cook, enjoyed the outdoors, and being a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was our 'Nana'. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter Trbovich in 1989; son, Rudy Trbovich in 2005; three sisters, Katherine Pezel, Mary Schuck, and Elizabeth Gutierrez; and two brothers, Frank and John Hopp.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Richard Kiko of Canton; eight grandchildren, Kristine (Jeff) Kiko-Cozy, Lori Kiko (Randy Compton), Colene (Rob) Stevens, Richard (Maureen) Kiko Jr., Peter (Joanie) Kiko, Kathleen (Andy) Cozy, William (Tifany) Kiko, and Trisha (Jay) Gainey; 17 great-grandchildren, Helena, Matt, Emilie, Kyle, Abby, Pete Jr., Lana (Jarrod), Kristen, Amber, Jake, Gabe, Katie, Faith, Max, Hanna, Noah, and Grace; and a great-great-grandson, Scott.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Care Center for their compassionate care. Family and friends will meet at Little Flower Catholic Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. John Zuzik as Celebrant. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church or St. Joseph Care Center.
