    NEW MATAMORAS - Lettie Marie Erb, 83, of New Matmaoras, went to be with the Lord and reunite with her loved ones at 9:34 p.m. Thursday (March 1, 2007). She was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Monroe County, a daughter of Harvey and Hattie Cline Jones. She was raised in Marr and attended Bloomfield School. Lettie was a housewife and homemaker. The greatest joy of her life and what she cherished most was the time she spent with her family. She was a Baptist by faith. On June 19, 1940, she married Dewey Erb, who preceded her in death in 1997.
    Lettie is survived by four son, Reuben (Wilma) of St. Marys, Gerald (Kathy) of Reno, Phillip of Cleveland, Larry (Margaret) of Akron; and seven daughter, Shirley Williams of New Matamoras, Edith (Jim) Buck of Lower Salem, Ruby Shafer of Reno, Mary Murphy of Newport, Donna Erb Riley, Florence (Bruce) Wriston, all of Marietta, and Marilyn (Rodney) Leach of Christmas, Fla.; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Helen Rohbaugh; infant son, Norman; two grandson; two grandchildren; two great-grandson; two great-granddaughters; daughter-in-law, Joan Erb; son-in-law, James Williams; four sisters, Ida Wittenkind, Ada Klodt, Lizzie Ridgeway, and Freda Erb; and four brothers, Charles, Herbert, Jasper, and James Jones.
    Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with David Beaver officiating. Burial will be in Sitka Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Sunday until the hour of the service. Family will be present to greet friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
