Tombstone found on May 2, 2007 in the woods way behind Hills Chapel Church. Inscription reads "ALB" My Darling. The land was once owned by John Hill who's son R L Hill was also buried there, beside Peter Edward Bozeman. Cousin Dora explained there were once over 50 tombstones on this very neglected area, which we may yet find, among the weeds, brush, and barbed wire. Father: Joseph C STEPHENS b: ABT 1845 in Ramer AL Mother: Sara E J MILLS b: ABT 1844 in AL Marriage 1 John Thomas BOZEMAN b: 30 JAN 1865 in farmed 40 acres of cotton, lived in 3 room log cabin, born in Ramer, Alabama, but lived in Troy after Alice died and lived with his mom a while .....sold cotton in Troy, easier than going to Montgome
