Both of my parents had Cherokee Blood and I am researching their ancestors, from many sources online and family stories; going through old photo albums, cards, receipts, Bibles, cards, and letters; I do survey and study cemeteries and headstones. I study postings on familysearch.org and census records on heritagequestonline.com, familysearch.org, usgenweb.com, Ancestry.com, and pay for my own subscriptions. I visit with new found relatives and long lost cemeteries to verify names, dates and places. Genealogists never get old - they simply lose their census :)
