Many people have contributed to this data by making Family Tree books and data available to be entered into the data base. Their help is greatfully acknowleged.
A brief discussion is needed to explain some of the pseudo-families that are shown with the names of (00Root-Anderson) or in general (00Root-Surname) The persons shown as male descendants of the root family are not related in any way. This method is being used to allow different families with the same surname to be grouped into a unit for a given area. An example of a large grouping is that for the (00Root-Krause) line where I am tracking many different Krause/(variations of surname) and the different branches allows me to refer to a Branch number when I correspond with persons from that Branch.
To use this approach of using a Root Name and Branches, each Branch must be shown as adopted and the genalogy program must not treat adopted children as if they were natural children(this is a major problem with FTM-20xx)
