    George and Fannie Vernon Skiles lived north of the Saline Creek for a while
    and then bought a farm south of the Vernon School house in Miller Cty MO.
    They built a house on it and farmed. George had a stroke in 1927. Was helpless
    for the last 9 yrs & 7 mos. Billy Allen, helping to dig his grave was nearly
    killed when a stick of dynamite exploded.
