BURIAL: Fairhaven Cemetery, Norborne, Carroll Co, Missouri. Lot 2, Block 8, Section C. Buried as Lucinda Weaver 20 Jun 1859- 28 Jan 1943, but she was really born in 1862.

ANNIE STUCK states LUCINDA EVE ROSE was married to BIll HELMICK June 1880. She left him before her son IKE HELMICK, was born on JUNE 25, 1881. Bill Helmick had been married before and his children ,the step children, were the indirect cause of the seperation. She said Bill was good to her, but he had to be away from home so much leaving her with the step children.

In a letter from ANNIE STUCK she states MARY ELLEN ROSE (AID) was born 11 NOV. 1877: Her fathers name was BAKER: MINNIE BELL AID was born 10 JAN 1883.She did not name mother. She also states FRED WEAVER was born 23 AUG 1884 ( He was not WEAVERS child. LUCINDA would never divulge the name of FRED'S father

Our theory is that REBECCA AID, LUCINDA'S mother, was not able to have any more children after many miscarriages with ROSE. LUCINDA had MARY ELLEN by a man named BAKER in 1877. MARY lived with BAKERS for awhile before going with REBECCA to COLO. where she married JAMES HOLLY BENSON.We believe LUCINDA had MINNIE BELL in 1883 and FRANK JAMES was the father. She left her with REBBECA to raise. REBECCA claimed MINNIE BELL as her daughter to get JOHN AIDS CIVIL WAR pension. The father of FRED is unknown but will be carried in our records as FRED HENRY WEAVER.
