    (This may not be the wife of Miles McGOUGH) His 5th ggrandson told me that there is some thought that Zachariah may been adopted by his stepfather (SPENCER) after his German father died. He does not know who Elizabeth married.
    IF our Elizabeth was the daughter of Zachariah SPENCER, she was born 16 May 1730. Have corresponded with a woman who comes from Elizabeth's brother's line but she also does not know who Elizabeth married.

Beginning at 2 Bounded Spanish Oak Saplings standing on the North side 7 perches on the main branch of Broad Creek; on the South West side AND WITHIN 50 yards of a spring emptying into said branch and running thence N 86 degrees W 40 perches to a stone thence N 53 degrees W 97 perches to a Bounded Chestnut Sapling by and on the North side of said branch of Broad Creek thence N 41 degrees W 54 perches to a Bounded Black Oak Saplin thence S 50 degrees and W 23 perches and a half to a Bounded Black Oak one of the boundaries of a tract of land called "PADDYS LAST SHIFT" thence with said tract S 52 degrees and one quarter W 101 perches to a stone near a road thence S 52 degrees E 72 perches to a Bounded Chestnut Saplin by said road thence bordering on the road S 22 degrees and three quarters E 40 perches to a place S 76 degrees W half a perch distant from a Bounded White Oak thence N 76 degrees to a Bounded Black Oak Saplin thence S 36 degrees E 26 perches S 9 degrees E 34 perches and a half to a Bounded Chestnut thence E by S 52 perches till it intersects the first line of a tract of land called "HARRYS DELIGHT" - thence bounding on said land reversely N 69 degrees E 30 perches to a Bounded White Oak the beginning of said land thence N 11 degrees and an half E 81 perches to a place E N E 4 perches farther distant from a Bounded White Oak Saplin thence E N E 50 perches to a Bounded White Oak and thence by a straingt line to the beginning containing and laid out 254 acres and one quarter more or less to be held by the name of TRAVELLERS REST.
