    Jesse Ricks Pitman married Mary Ann Dorman in 1845 in Bossier Parish, LA, they lived years in Bienville Parish, LA, Mt. Lebanon area.

    Most of my Pitman information is taken from Warren Baker's family history "Bakers Forever and Ever", with supporting information from church records in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church records, Mt. Lebanon, Beinville Parish, LA.

    Jesse Ricks Pitman is buried with his last wife in the Mt. Lebanon cemetery. (See pictures in file)

    Jesse and Nancy Rouse Pitman were charter members of Beulah Baptist Chruch, Dooley County, Georga, and he was one of the first two deacons there.
