On October 21, 2001 a Steve Collins pos ted the following email into the
Pea Family Gen Forum is response to a letter that I had previously posted:
From Steve Collins Subj: Nancy Pea and Levi Per kins Message 113
David, Levi was born in 1820 Delaware Co., Indiana (Later Ru sh
County) in 1820, he died in 1852. He was a jailer in Rush Co. at his
dea th. Nancy then took over as the jailer and did that for the next nine
years. Nancy died 26 Mar. 1901 in Rushville. They are both buried in
the East Hill Cemetery, Rushville Twp. (Township). Nancy has a very good
obit if you can so mehow acquire it. Their were twelve children in her
parents family. Her paren ts were George & Elizabeth (Neill) Pea. My
direct Line is her brother Levi.
