He was a retired custodian of Barryton high school, having served in that capacity 23 years. He is survived by two brothers, John, Barryton, and Benjamin, Washington; nine sisters (daughters), Mrs. Ella (Eva) Rank (Rankin), Maryland; Mrs. Irene Koy, Iowa; Mrs. Bernadine Dean, Indiana; Mrs. Madeline Bacon, Fostoria; Mrs. Gertrude Smith, Rodney; Mrs. Louise Dout, Florida; Mrs. Arlene Gieseler, Mrs. Paul (Pauline) Walters, and Mrs. Plumton (sister) all of Barryton; 22 grandchildren and the great grandchildren. Tuesday at the Barryton Church of God with the Rev Charles Hawkins. Burial at Flake Cemetery.
