    Alexander was a farmer and resided his entire life in Craven County, NC.
    Lathan Riggs told a story related to him by Alexander's daughter Mary.
    The story was that Alexander had made a trip north to visit William Hen
    Riggs and Peter Riggs of Camden County. During his trip, Alexander died
    of unknown causes. The family could not afford to make the trip north f
    the funeral. Daughter Bertha Riggs memos, mard Alexanders death
    approximately1896 with no further explanation. There are some unmarked
    graves at the Peter Riggs cemetery in Camden County. Lathan Riggs made a
    memorial stone for Alexander and placed it in the Peter Riggs Cemete
    Camden County. This is nofurther information to substantiate this story.
