Text: Hi David. Thanks for email. I did not have Anderson and Martha's marriage date and am glad to get that plus the information on James Marion White. The children of Anderson and Martha were Martha A, James and William. Don't you think your Annie could be this Martha A [probably Anne]? The Nancy born ca.1856 was a daughter of Martha and Touchston as well as Mary born ca. 1858, an unnamed child born ca. 1861 [or I could not figure out the name from the census] and John born ca. 1864.. Yes, I think my Leticia born 3-12-1811 was the first child born to James Taylor White and Elizabeth Ingram. There also was William born ca. 1813 who moved to Ashley Co., Ark. , Anderson, Edward, Frances born 3-12-1819 who married Thomas Harman Thames and moved to Sebastian Co., Ark. Nancissus born ca. 1827 who married Francis Patton and was in AL. in 1860 where Leticia lived, Nancy Reeves ca. 1828 [don't have any idea who she was], Elizabeth, and Jessie Cleveland who ended up in Union Co., Ark. I have also heard rumors of a Franklin born 1820-27 and a John born ca. 1816. I have found a John born 1816 in Lincoln Co., N C who married a Saluda Ann Gunn in Stewart Co., Ga. in 1852 and wonder if John is not one of the sons. Let's stay in touch and hopefully we can figure out who the parents of JTW and Elizabeth were. I keep hearing that there might be some Indian ancestors of the White's. Have you heard this?
