Susan Clark obit
Susan Elder Clark, 95, of Greensburg, died Thursday, June 11, 1998. She was born Dec. 22, 1902, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late George A. and Nettie Belle Hummell Momeyer. She was a member for 84 years of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. For many years, she taught children's Sunday school classes and was a member of the Dependable Class and United Methodist Women. She was a member of William Gelston #435 Order of the Eastern Star. She resided in Ligonier for 20 years and was a member of the Women's Club and the Heritage United Methodist Country Circle. She was the last member of the family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver Perry Elder; her second husband, Lewis E. Clark; a daughter-in-law, Fern Dunmire Elder; three sisters, Mary and Catherine Momeyer and Florence Elder; and three brothers, Arthur J., W. Edward and George A. Momeyer. Surviving are two sons, Dick and wife, Louise Elder, and O.P. "Pat" Elder, all of Greensburg; a daughter, Nancy and husband, Dale Roddy of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Mrs. Karen Grace, Dr. James R. Elder, Gary Elder, Patrick J. Roddy, Dale W. Roddy and David A. Roddy; great-grandchildren, Brian and Dr. Mark Grace, Doug, Kevin, Tricia and Erin Elder, Jay, Erin, Allison and Laurel Roddy; and great-great-grandchildren, Alicia Grace and Tommy Grace. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday at noon in the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg, with the Rev. B. Scott Peterman officiating. Interment in St. Clair Cemetery. O.E.S. #435 will hold a service in the funeral home Sunday at 7:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Youth Campership.
