  • Note:
    Thomas lived at Gawler, Barossa Diggings, Undalya, Blinman and Silverton. He had a limestone quarry at Acacia, between Silverton and BH; he supplied flux to the smelters in BH. His son, William Henry K and his grandson Walter Charles K also worked in the quarry. The parents of the children at Acacia built their own school, financed by charging a shilling a week, as the governemt refused to erect one.
