Obituary- 1958
Anna Elizabeth Moege, daughter of Larinda and Gottlieb Yaege, was born June 2, 1878 near Manhattan,Kansas. She passed away at Reese,Kansas March 26, at the age of 79 years,nine months and 24 days.
On Sept 1 1892, she was married to Herman John Moege, who preceeded her in death. To this union were born nine children, two of whom died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her passing seven children: Bertha of Baldwin Park, California, Rose and August of Reece, Dee of Holyrood, Jesse of Burlington, Carl of Stafford, and Herman of Augusta. He also leaves nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Early in life she was affiliated with the Presbyterian church at Manhattan,Kansas. She was a good mother and a kind friend and neighbor
Funeral service was held from the Baird Funeral Home Friday, March 29. Intern was in the Blankenship cemetery in Butler County.
Friends and relatives from out of town attending the services were: Mr and Mrs Steve Wycoff,Tulsa,Oklahoma; Mr and Mrs R.S.Prather and Carol of Cedarvale,Kansas; Mrs. Hilda Meyers, Mrs Oscar Zeckser, Richard Yaege, Mrs. Paul Palenske and son Marvin, all of Alma,Kansas.
