Note: Born Julia Frances Hartsock, the entire family changed the spelling sometime between 1870 & 1880.
November 26, 1912, Louisville Kentucky, Informant for the Death Certificate for Isaac Wesley Hartsook was Mrs. E Laswell, who lived at 3172 W Chesh, Louisville Kentucky.
The 1880 census refers to Fannie as Julia F, however, all other census refer to her as Fannie J.
The Flordia Death Index 1961 - 1966 shows Julia Frances Laswell, Place of Death as Dade Co., Death Date: August 1962, Certificate # 32511 I believe this may very well be "Fannie" as Gloria moved to Miami, Dade Co., Florida, and the Obituary for Gloria states she was the daughter of Frances Laswell.

I can not find any marriages records for Julia and Edward, however, I believe they were married in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky, as Edward and his parents were living in Louisville during the late 1880's & 1890's.
It appears that sometime after 1910 Edward and Fannie Laswell were either seperated or divorced, as either one appear together after that time.
