    Note** The death dates for both Alexander and Rachael, were originally provided by The Peyton Society of Virginia. However, Edith Bastin of Horse Cave, Hart Co., Kentucky was kind enough to provide me with photos of the cemetery, and head stones of several of the Payton family. Per Edith Bastin, the Stones all match the Larger "Payton" stone, indicating a family plot. There are at least 28 if not more Payton's in section B of the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery, with more spread out through the cemetery.
