  • Note:
    The censuses show Albert living at Maidstone with his parents and siblings until at least 1871. The 1881 census shows Albert (21 year-old shopman) boarding at 295 High Street in Chatham in Kent. I could not find him in the 1891 census.

    The Catherine House Records show that Albert Hickmott married Eliza Elizabeth Pilcher in the Elham district of Kent in the June quarter of 1885 (vol. 2a, page 1513).

    In 1901 Albert (41, master grocer) was living at 7 Holland Street Maidstone with his wife Eliza Elizabeth (44, born at Folkestone, Kent) and daughter Elsie (12, Maidstone).

    Described as a retired grocer, Albert was a recipient of his father's will which was proved at London on 11 April 1930.
