The LDS IGI shows that an Eveline Emma Campbell Goddard was born at Calcutta in West Bengal on 29 December 1876 and baptised there on 7 February 1877.

In 1881 Evelyn was with her grandparents at Llanishen in Wales. In 1891 Evelyn was living in Wandsworth in London with her mother Harriet and siblings Edward, George, Harold, Kathleen, Frank, Henry and Harriet (details provided in Harriet Sarah's entry).

In the 1901 census Evelyn E. C. Goddard (24) was head of the household at 39 'Curveton' Road in Wandsworth. Also present were Evelyn's grandmother Harriet Goddard (89 year-old widow born at Salisbury in Wiltshire), her aunt Mary Goddard (49, Wiltshire), sister Kathleen Goddard (22, Calcutta), brother Frank Goddard (21, coach builder, Clapham Junction, London), sister May Goddard (17, Calcutta), a visitor Ann Sime (72, Kennard Scotland) and a servant Gertrude Jones. All of the female Goddards were living on their own means. Frank was a coach builder.

The 1911 census has Eveline Emma Campbell Goddard (34 and born in Calcutta) living with her father and sister Kathleen in Wood Green in Middlesex.

The Catherine House records show that an Eveline E. C. Goddard, aged 65 years, died in the Colchester registration district of Essex in 1942 (vol 4a, page 1392).
