    The 1942 electoral roll shows John Joseph, soldier, and Olive Rose Ivers living on North Road in the Melbourne suburb of North Clayton. In 1963 they were at 22 Brown Street in Swan Hill where John was working as an ambulance superintendant (a John Leslie Ivers, ambulance officer, was living on Nyah Road). They were still at Swan Hill in 1968, John at the ambulance station and Olive 57 Grummow Street. John was at 96 Murlong Street Swan Hill in 1972. Olive was still at 57 Grummow Street as was a Kathleen Lee Ivers. Only Olive and Kathleen were on the 1977 roll for Swan Hill.

    John Austin states that Olive and John had five children: Ruth Elsa Ivers (1943-1990) and four others still living. According to the 'Hall Family Tree' on Ancestry.com, Olive died in Bendigo in Victoria in 2005.
