    The Catherine House Records show Albert married Susannah Pierce in the Kent district of Blean in the September quarter of 1870 (vol. 2a, page 976).

    The 1871 census shows Albert (30, draper) in St Pabcreas London with his wife Susannah (32 and born at Canterbury) and a visitor Mary J. Caplin (schoolmaster's wife also born at Canterbury).

    The 1881 census shows Albert (40, draper) at 1 Charteris Road, St Mary Islington in London with Susannah.

    The 1891 census shows Albert (50) and Susannah (52) living at Ivy Villas in Tottenham in London. Also there is their 19 year-old nephew, William H. Purea (a publisher's clerk) who was born at Canterbury (this could be Eliza's son or a nephew of Susannah's).
