    There is an IGI entry for a Mary Campbell born 1 May 1811 and Christened on 02 Jun 1811 at Saint Peter, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. Her parents are noted as Owen Campbell and Hannah Davies. These names fit with Mary's own children. This information has been entered, but cannot be confirmed until a marriage or birth certificate is sourced.

    Note, however, that Joseph/Joel and Mary name two of their children as Owen and Hannah.

    Mary's birth year is noted as 1816 on the 1841 Census.
    1861 Census gives her birth year as 1808.
    1871 Census gives birthday of 1808.
    1881 Census gives birthdate of 1812.
