Note: 1884 Step A Side Census WAGG, William and Susan Heber, Adelaide, Julia, Martha
According to Douglas Hollett: William was a fisherman and fished each day for lobsters. He operated a lobster canning factory until his death. His wife Susan was a nurse and a mid-wife, and helped in over 200 births. William drowned at the family wharf at Stepaside. He fell over and his leg became wedged in the wharf, and no one was there to save him as the rest of the family were at church.
