Note: "In 1961 Bruce W. David of Cleveland, Ohio, published a small book called "The David Family Scrapbook" He is a descendant of Jonathan G. David who married May Ann Grubb. In this book he has an account of his Grubb ancestry. However, his sketch is so full of errors that, except for a few names and dates, it is almost worthless. He starts out with listing six Grubb children supposedly baptised at the Egypt Church- actually not one of those he named is in the Egypt record. He next says Henry Grubb, his ancestor, came to Pennsylvania in 1743, which is evidently also incorrect. There are later baptisms at Egypt- in all cases the name was spelled Grob.
What follows below (in the book) is made up from various sources- some from David's book, but mostly from the records of George F. P. Wagner, from notes of Charles R. Roberts, from the Great Swamp Church record, from the Egypt Reformed church record, etc."
