Deneen was born 25 OCT 1832 in Warfordsburg, Bethel Township, Bedford, Pennsylvania, and died 6 FEB 1899 in Warfordsburg, Fulton Co, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Elizabeth Hege, daughter of Valentine Hege ,Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Litton.
