She married James Henry Haynes 18 DEC 1889 in Johnston County, North Carolina, son of William Haynes and Temperance Ann Mercer. He was born 11 NOV 1867 in Wilson County, North Carolina, and died 30 AUG 1947 in Columbia, South Carolina.

   ix.Noah Battle Hales was born 21 MAR 1872 in Johnston County, North Carolina, and died 17 JAN 1929.
