He was born 25 JAN 1809 in Buncombe/Haywood Co. NC, and died 24 SEP 1892 in Benton Co. AR.     v. Mary CLARKSON was born ABT 1820 in MO. She married ? CORN.     vi. James CLARKSON was born 1822 in MO, and died BEF 1860 in Can't find him in census.. He married Mary Malinda B.? BEF 1849, daughter of UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN. She was born DEC 1826 in MO /KY, and died 8 NOV 1905 in Faught, Lamar Co. TX.     vii. Merritt CLARKSON was born ABT 1830 in MO, and died AFT 1880. He married Mary Ann WILKINSON 19 DEC 1855 in St Clair Co, MO. He married Rebecca WAGGONER 16 MAY 1861 in Lamar Co, TX. She died BEF 1880.
