Mason Hall in NW TN, on the Obion-Gibson County line 20 miles south of the MS River crossing at Hickman KY, was a stop on the early 1800s migration route west. The community grew from an earlier settlement known as Tysonville in Gibson Co. This file records most of Mason Hall's first settlers. It also is the largest database of the descendants of my ggg-grandfather Thomas Jenkins b 1774, including my grandfather of Mason Hall. The file also records others in our family and in the local area

'Genealogy is not chisled in stone, but derived from fleeting footprints in the sand'. Those in this file will live as long as we remember them. This database is dedicated to Haywood Green, the late Mason Hall historian, and earlier Jenkins researchers mentioned on my Jenkins web page. Corrections and additions welcomed.
