This is the link describing the cemetery where Peter Acker and his wife Jane Sutherland are buried. http://sciway3.net/scgenweb/anderson-county/cemetery-txt/a344.txt The remaining field stones have been scattered and discarded. Maybe we, the descendants of Peter Acker, could write to the owners of the golf course, asking them to be respectful of the fact that they are the owners of a small family cemetery. I wonder if anyone would be willing to chip in on a small monument saying "Acker Cemetery".
